An unsilent patch to celebrate that my spring reverb now is silent - when i want it to be silent. Spring reverbs can be sensitive to electricity. No my spring tank is hidden away!.

This is a sound effect i generated that simulates the background noise of a vhs tape from ca. 1991. It is basically pink noise at approx. 0. 01 dbs and sawtooth wave at 60 hz, both combined with audacity. It is ideal for adding to video projects on i. E. : sony vegas to recreate the effect of vhs. Enjoy this sound effect.

I made a tonal quantussy recording. The bass always plays a low c. The 5 tracks are selected from one 15 min long recording. The synth creates defined tracks with different character.

This sound was created as follows:. -zynaddsubfx free (and insanely amazing) software synthesizer generated simple g tone using a sine-wave adsynth engine- creative sbs 250 speakers played it back distorting the sound naturally and adding some interesting stereo phasing effects (is that caused by analog signal cable being longer for one speaker?)- i was manually changing the volume using the speaker's potentiometer (whitch is dirty and added some interesting noises on the right speaker, and also at peak loudness during the 54th second the right speaker is quiet)- the output was captured by zoom h2's rear mics- and recorded via usb into audacity free audio editing program- i exported the recording as 16-bit flac.

2hp osc is fm modulating bermuda (using fm in). Pitch cv to osc is controlled by sloth and attenuverter. The bermuda tri output singnal is shaped by doepfer vactrol vcf. The vcf is modulated by sloth (cv in 1) and jerkoff (cv in 2). The noise it from dan, going to polivioks vcf. Polivoks is modulated by sloth. Output from vcf is going to vca controlled by another sloth.

My roland jupiter 4 with resonance cranked up and filter modulated with lfo by a very low rate. The deep basses at the end of each sweet may be great for deep dub-basses. The sweep sounds great with effects and when gated. Have fun. . .

Had a patch. Changed speed, attack and delay time. Got this. A bubbly noisy landscape. At the end i dissconect the "main lfo". The one thats makes things advance. But beyond that i get sounds.

Guiro sound made of rim shot sound in behringer rd-8 with built-in high pass filter and retrigger with accent. Recorded with zoom h1 at 96khz and 24bits. Filtered of low range noise, tirmmed and normalized in edison in flstudio. Editing made sample 32-bit.

Recorded on a tascam msr16 4 claps two per track. There might be some low freq noise, since other instruments bleeded from other tracks of the machine, but thats why they are called "dirty drum samples" :) can be layerd to get a gang-clap. Free to use them whereever you want.

Hello,. This is the sample pack that i completed for the sound design course at slam academy. The theme of this pack is sounds that could be used to make melancholy and dark sounding music, but use however you see fit. I used ableton’s operator and analog synthesizers and xfer’s serum plugin to create this sounds. All processing was used using ableton’s stock effects and serum’s stock effects. Using a bass drum module to get not that bassdrummy sounds. . . Combining this with different types of feedback. I didn't know how to end the recording, as you will notice. I'm using an analog delay and spring reverb. Maybe the ending in it self is interesting? i find it hard to "tag" this sound :-)how useless is this sound on a scale from 1 to 5? 5 is totally useless. . .

Sold a module. Now there is room fort dirt again. The name is well-deserved. Dirt is a filter module from synthrotek. It's so strange that i wonder if the person who built it got it right. . . It's a kit. But i bought the module second hand.

It is what the title says "modified doepfer a-124 vcf5 wasp filter"listen and you will understand ;-)i the middle of the sound/beat i turn up resonance. I have connected cv2 to the bass pitch signal. Funny effect.

Feedback loop involving jupiter storm, a-147-2vcdlfo and a-101-1 vactrol vcfcv injected from 2 x sloth and intellijel quadra expander in quadra moodsome spring reverb. After ~1min i switch "noise core disruptor" (jupiter storm) off. I don't know what combination of (free (as in beer)) vsts, ni komplete audio 2 interface, and behringer pro~1 synth produced this but i thought it was very soothing and definitely worth sampling!. The bass note at the beginning is f# if you want to use that as well ;). Was going to wait to upload a samplepack after i finish these 3 albums/compilations but this is just too good to sit on. Note to would-be producers: this is what mindset you get into after burning the candle at both ends buyer beware :upside_down_face:.

Yep, i'm reading allen stranges "electronic music: system, techniques and controls". Interesting from start. This is a patch made with lessons from chapter 5. 20 modules involved. The ending is just modular freak-out. . . Whit the turn of one pot. . . Leading to some nice sound fx.

The drone has a form of pattern repeating every 2 minutes. But other thing are vaguely linked to this pattern. The heart of this patch is intellijel quadra + expansion. I'm using 3 oscillators and noise. I add some character to the sound with a driver pedal (boss bd-2).

I had this piano in the seventies. It was manufactured at italy and had this cheesy sound. The sound is very analog and is created with squarewaves. In the last year i bought it at ebay and repaired it. The sound had a lot of noise,so i resampled it and put it into my roland fantom,to get a better sound. This is the result. Have fun.

These samples come from a gakken sx-150, a small analogue synthesizer kit that was released in japan 2008 as part of the gakken hobby magazine series. The synth became very popular also outside of japan, mainly because it's a low-cost analogue synth with a great sound that offers lots of possibilities for circuit benders.

Samples of the vintage korg mini pops 45 drum machine. No processing applied here but a very gentle fft based noise reduction. After all, i figured background noise was part of the machine's sonic identity. No patterns here, since that would have taken forever, just the individual sounds.
